Urchin and Kelp

Rialto Beach, Olympic National Park, Washington

Notes: This was the only Sea Urchin I saw during three mornings of tide pool searching, and it doesn't look too healthy. Perhaps a Sea Otter started to have its way picking the spines off... Kelp leaves and other sea plants surround the urchin.
