Rainforest Path

Location:

Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic National Park, Washington

Notes: Yes, it really is a rain forest. Despite the fact that Olympic National Park sits on the very Northwest tip of the Continental United States, the climate is mild enough and the moisture plentiful enough to support this lush temperate rain forest. Vine Maple intertwines above this section of the Hall of Mosses trail, evidence of the vibrant growth potential.
