Shrine Ridge South

Notes: Aster, Paintbrush, Penstemon, Bistort and dozens of other wildflower species blanket the hilltop of Shrine Ridge, near Vail Pass. The hillside just beyond the flowers is home to early season alpine flowers, and the trail leading here boasts Bog Orchids, Mountain Death Camas, and dozens of other species.
