Ouzel Falls

Wild Basin, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

Notes: High up near the headwaters of the St. Vrain River, water rushes over a rugged granite cliff to form the impressive Ouzel Falls. A massive Lodgepole Pine trunk at the base of the falls adds character to the scene, placed not by the falls but merely by the passage of time.
