Kitchen Creek Fall

Location:

Rickett's Glen State Park, Pennsylvania

Notes: Although Civil War era landowner R. Bruce Ricketts made his money from clear-cutting timber, he wisely spared the forests around the glens from the axe and saw. The beauty of twenty two waterfalls carved into the gorges of the park, surrounded by diverse old growth forest, gained the park the recognition of being a National Natural Landmark in 1969.
