Notes: As evening settles in to Estes Park, Elk move down from the tundra and frequently make their way into town. This female was grazing on the grounds of one of the many resorts between downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. She was unconcerned but curious as I took this picture from my vehichle.
