Sunflower After The Storm

Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Colorado

Notes: Prairie Sunflowers lined the road leading to the Great Sand Dunes in 2006. While chasing rainbows into the park, I chanced across this poor, drooping flower that looked completely beaten by the storm. Of course, all the sunflowers were just "resting" until the Sun came back out!
