Notes: This Western Trillium is taking up the epiphytic life on the side of a large Redcedar. Many of the plants in Olympic National Park can be found growing from the bark of older trees and on the remains of toppled forest giants like Sitka Spruce and Redcedar, where the bark and plant material catch nutrients, removing the need for soil.
