Mountain Base Road, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Colorado

Notes: This is probably actually a hybrid in the Paintbrush family. The leaves identify the plant as Scarlet Paintbrush, but the flower bract at the top more closely resembles Rosy Paintbrush. Both grow in this area.
