Dusk on Lake Manly

Notes: Who would have thought that this sublime scene was possible in one of the harshest places on Earth. Of course, it's not every day that the mythical Lake Manly appears in Death Valley to provide this kind of scenery... The lake was only two-and-a-half feet deep at its deepest; its high salinity helped buoy kayaks, rafts, and canoes for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
