Headquarters Canyon Color

Notes: Headquarters Canyon is one of the easiest slot canyon hikes in Utah. Carved by rushing desert storm waters, slot canyons are characterized by extremely narrow sections. Not all of the canyon is narrow, however; much of it is wide and lush, and during our walk we were lucky to see a Great Horned Owl, which undoubtedly had a good supply of rodents to feed on in the lush vegetation of the canyon.
