Notes: Petroglyphs - chiseled stone art - are one of the few clues we have about the ancient Fremont culture. This panel, showing several people and an assortment of animals, is easy to reach, sitting just down the road from the Capitol Reef visitor center; a boardwalk guides you along the cliff face where you can view the artwork.
